Sharlot Hall Museum - FOLK FESTIVAL, 415 W. Gurley St., Prescott, AZ

Women on the Move trio will be back in Prescott for the third year in a row, for an appearance at Sharlot Hall Museum’s annual Folk Music Festival. This is Arizona’s oldest such gathering, featuring more than 100 top-notch performers delivering a wide range of folk styles on FOUR sound stages. The event runs from 10 AM to 5 PM TWO Days, Saturday and Sunday, October 6 & 7, in a beautifully scenic, historic outdoor location. Lots of shade trees! Admission: $5 for Museum members, $7.50 for non-members; attendees under 18 are free. The trio will be on site SATURDAY -- teaching a songwriting workshop from 10 AM to Noon, and performing in the "Amphitheater" at 2 PM. The trio draws on generations of womanly wisdom and whimsy to share story-telling songs laced with harmony, heart and humor. Their contemporary folk style showcases each woman's individual talents as a singer/songwriter while blending their voices in original and nostalgic ways.
