September is International Literacy Month, and WORD AV is holding its 6th Annual Literacy Festival . Women on the Move (Trish Lester, Linda Geleris & Joan Enguita) will perform at noon. Joan, Linda and Trish combine their years of life experience with harmonious originality, a bit of humor and a touch of nostalgia to create music that touches hearts and souls. One reviewer described them as “Three distinct voices merged into one angelic blend.” Visit them at www.WomenOnTheMoveTrio.com The Festival runs from 10 AM to 4 PM, and features literacy workshops, music, story reading for children, book giveaways, community information tables, and more to promote literacy awareness in the Antelope Valley.
